Are we winning? Two volunteers (Vic and Ted) walked the entire length of Apple Tree Walk and only managed to pick up just over one sack of rubbish between them! Of course, it's harder to see the litter now that the area is covered with fresh vegetation but there did seem to be less rubbish than usual. This was the last short litter picking session in the present series. Our attention will now turn mainly to other activities such as conservation work and gardening until the autumn.
