September Litter Picking Walk

Splendid autumn day for a walk along the Gin Rail path.  Lee pulled out two shopping trollies out of the stream and noticed a number of tires and rubbish that need removal.  Cherry Tree Hill was strewn with drink cans, plastic bottles, sweet wrappers, and a never ending trail of fast food packaging. Of more concern to me, away from the edges of the road, lies an invasive deposit of forgotten rubbish now part of the landscape. Whilst less visible than freshly dropped litter, this forgotten layer now strangles growth and tarnishes the beauty of hedgerows. Jo and Matthew
