Another great turn out and fabulous weather for our 3rd beach clean up! 24 bags of litter collected and another couple of pieces of carpet dragged out of the sand. Much of the litter was sewage related - lots of cotton bud sticks, sanitary items and cleaning wipes which people flush down the toilet. We need to spread the message that this is where these items end up and get people to 'bin' not 'flush'!
