Great to see some new faces joining us for our second beach clean up! Some of the group focused on the St. Germains beach entrance where the main job was to clear lots of broken glass from the bottom of the sand dunes. There seems to be a new trend to not only leave litter after a few drinks on the beach but to smash the bottles as well. This poses a real danger to beach users as well as dogs and wildlife. Others focused on the High Street and Coast Road beach entrances, where the usual suspects were found along with a load of carpet, perspex and some tractor doors. Thanks to everyone who helped out - another 25 bags of litter removed :0)
