We were blessed with brilliant sunshine for our morning's 'Pick'.  Although our numbers were few, our select little team managed to gather up 8 bin bags of litter around: the play area; Marlwood School; Vattingstone Lane and Strode Common.  Despite the sun shining the dew was heavy so searching for half buried litter was rewarded for some with wet feet  (I should have put my walking boots on like Margaret!).    Afterwards we enjoyed a shared lunch together whilst our feet dried out. Thank you to everyone involved for such a  good effort
