Areas covered: Ynysddu, Banks of the River Ely, Cowbridge Road and Pont-y-clun railway station.

We have set out to transform Environment of Pont-y-clun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and its surrounding areas. Our goal is to promote and encourage a culture change towards a litter free community by attracting support from the general public, appropriate agencies, bodies & resources.
We have adopted 4 main areas:
1: Ynysddu Estate
2: The River's Ely and Clun at Pontyclun
3: A stretch of the A4222 Cowbridge Road nr. Y Pant School
4: Pont-y-clun Railway Station
5: The footpath that borders Y Pant School, along the River Clun
These area's get a thoroughly cleared at least once a week, and we always remove any other litter that we see around the place.
Recently, we have "adopted" Pont-y-clun Railway Station, this means that we fill in weekly surveys on the station's condiotion and make suggestions for improvement. As well as this, as adopters, we are incouraged to improve the station grounds such as grass management and flower planting.
